The campus of Villa Borbone alle Pianore is a site of historical, cultural and landscape value for the entire Versilia area. Once home to the last Empress of Austria-Hungary, Zita of Bourbon-Parma, the estate includes a palazzo of considerable historical and architectural merit, surrounded by an extensive park protected by the Superintendency of Cultural Heritage and enriched by a botanical garden of rare importance.

From 1952 to the early 2000s, the villa hosted school activities run by the Cavanis Religious Congregation of the Schools of Charity, becoming an educational point of reference for the area. Today, through the Educa International School Versilia project, the campus is coming back to life as a hub for education and innovation, with the goal of enhancing and repurposing this historic estate, contributing to the cultural, educational and tourism growth of all of Versilia.
