EIS Education Model
EIS Versilia is a dynamic, inclusive and innovative educational environment, whose mission is to shape conscious, independent and creative citizens, capable of facing the challenges of the contemporary world with critical thinking, collaboration and social responsibility. The EIS model integrates scientific, technological and digital skills with humanities, language and artistic disciplines, following an interdisciplinary STEAM approach that unites logic and creativity, analytical thinking and sensitivity.
At the centre of the EIS educational project is the student, an active protagonist of their own growth journey. The school fosters a welcoming and stimulating environment, valuing each student’s individual attitudes, interests and talents. Through personalised learning paths, inclusive methodologies and experiential teaching, EIS supports the whole person’s development: cognitive, social and emotional.
English is a key, strategic skill in the EIS model: not just a subject of study, but the language of instruction for most disciplines, within an immersive, international setting. This approach allows students to reach a high level of language proficiency while developing communication, scientific and digital skills. Through a solid network of international partnerships, English is not just a teaching tool, but a fundamental skill for personal and professional development and for full inclusion in global society.
Why Choose EIS Education Model?
We offer an innovative approach to teaching, designed to speak effectively to today’s generations, who, by their very way of thinking, build knowledge and skills collaboratively. They discover their own strengths and weaknesses and, guided by expert teachers, build a lasting learning community.
We have an inclusive educational model, first of all thanks to our personalised methodological approach, and also thanks to the accessibility features and apps available on the devices provided to students. In this way, we welcome every one of our students into an environment of excellence, respecting their individual learning style and giving each of them what they need.
Many of the subjects students study are taught in English, following the CLIL methodology: teachers build learning units in complete synergy with one another, offering knowledge with no break in continuity, whether disciplinary or linguistic.
Our digital teaching makes use of iPads and Macs whenever they genuinely improve the learning and teaching process: cutting-edge tools capable of offering endless possibilities for learning paths that are personalised, interdisciplinary and, why not, engaging.
Coding is a new language as well as a formidable tool for sharpening logical thinking. The activities offered across all school levels are highly varied: from robotics to creating augmented reality environments or escape rooms. Because we learn better when we build something.
